Flower Birthday Invites for Alex

A poetry picnic by the pond calls for an invitation that is just as fresh and whimsical. This handmade paper features dried marigolds for a pop of color. I used hand-mixed navy ink to create a fun contrast with the orange of the flowers. The deckled edges add to the thoughtful vibe of the gathering. For the envelopes, I hand cut them to a custom size using kraft paper. I finished the invites with wax seals with dried flower petals continuing the nature theme. I'm happy with how these turned out and Alex is too!
